Terms of Service

Effective from 25 October 2026.

These terms set out the rules for using the Leira Studio website. How we process personal data is described in a separate document: Privacy Policy.

1. Service provider and contact

The Leira Studio website is run by Ariel Janiuk (Leira Studio). For anything concerning the website, including complaints, contact contact.leirastudio@gmail.com or use the contact form on the site.

2. What the website offers

Leira Studio is the website of an independent creator of games, apps and tools. It offers: news and posts (devlogs), project pages with artwork and materials, downloads of files made available, links to external stores and platforms, an art gallery, a community (posts, comments, likes, chat), user accounts, an activity system (points, levels, badges, VIP ranks), a newsletter and the option to voluntarily support projects. Browsing public content does not require an account.

3. User accounts

Creating an account is free: you provide an email address, a username and a password, or sign in with Google (or another provider offered). You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for actions taken from your account. Your username and display name must not be misleading (e.g. impersonating other people or Leira Studio) or unlawful. You can delete your account at any time in Settings (Settings → Delete account) or by writing to contact.leirastudio@gmail.com.

4. Rules of use

When using the website you must not publish content that is unlawful, offensive, incites hatred or violence, harasses others, is pornographic, infringes the rights of others (e.g. copyright or privacy), or is spam or unsolicited advertising. You must not try to bypass security measures, disrupt the website, artificially inflate points, likes or views (e.g. with bots or multiple accounts), or exploit bugs to the detriment of others.

5. Moderation

Comments, community posts and chat messages may be moderated. Community posts are usually reviewed before publication unless automatic publishing is switched on at the time. We may hide or remove content that breaks these terms or the law and, for serious or repeated violations, temporarily suspend or block an account. Anyone can report content using the report button (where available) or by email; we handle reports without undue delay. If you think a decision was wrong, write to us and we will review it again.

6. Voluntary support

On the Donate page you can voluntarily support Leira Studio in general or a chosen project. Support is a voluntary contribution towards developing the projects and is not payment for goods or services unless a specific offer clearly states otherwise. Payments are handled by external providers: Stripe (card, BLIK — BLIK in PLN only), PayPal and traditional bank transfer (PLN); Przelewy24 when that method is available on the site. Available currencies are PLN, USD, EUR and GBP (depending on the method). We do not store card details — they stay with the payment provider. A payment is recorded only after the provider confirms it. When paying you can choose whether to appear publicly (e.g. on the supporters list) and whether to show the amount.

7. Monthly support

Where this option is available, you can set up support that renews every month (handled by Stripe). The amount is charged automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time through the Stripe customer portal (Account settings → Manage subscription, or the link in the confirmation email); cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period and no further payments are taken.

8. Refunds

If a payment was a mistake (e.g. a wrong amount or a duplicate payment) or you want to request a refund for another reason, write to contact.leirastudio@gmail.com with the date, amount and payment method. Each request is considered individually, and refunds are made using the same method as the original payment. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits the rights consumers have under mandatory law.

9. Points, levels, badges and VIP ranks

Activity points, levels, badges, VIP ranks and similar distinctions are virtual and purely symbolic. They have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for money or other benefits, sold or transferred to another account. VIP ranks are based on the total of confirmed payments, and points on activity and support. The rules for awarding them (thresholds, number of points, appearance) may change; points gained in breach of these terms (e.g. by artificial inflation) may be corrected.

10. Downloads and external stores

Files made available for download may be used under the terms stated for the given project or in the included licence; otherwise, only for your own non-commercial use. Links to external stores and platforms (e.g. game or app stores) lead to services run by other companies — purchases and downloads there are governed by their own rules and terms.

11. Intellectual property

Leira Studio games, apps, artwork, texts, logos, project names and other materials are protected by copyright and belong to Leira Studio (Ariel Janiuk) or its licensors. They may not be copied, distributed or used commercially without permission, except where the law allows it (e.g. quotation, permitted personal use) or where a material clearly states otherwise.

12. Your content

Content you publish (comments, posts, messages, avatar, cover image) remains yours. By publishing it you grant Leira Studio a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, store and make it available on the website (including in translations into the site’s other languages, if created) for as long as it is published. You confirm that you have the right to publish it. You can delete your content yourself or ask us to remove it.

13. Liability

We do our best to keep the website working properly, but it may have interruptions or errors, and it may be changed and developed. We are not responsible for content published by users or for the operation of external services that links lead to. These limitations apply to the extent permitted by law and do not cover damage caused intentionally or consumer rights under mandatory law.

14. Complaints

Send complaints and comments about the website or payments to contact.leirastudio@gmail.com or via the contact form, describing the problem and the details needed to check it (e.g. the date and amount of a payment). We reply within 14 days. Consumers may also use out-of-court dispute resolution, e.g. help from a municipal or district consumer ombudsman or the Provincial Inspectorate of Trade Inspection in Poland (information: prawakonsumenta.uokik.gov.pl), or a consumer body in their own country.

15. Changes to these terms

These terms may change, e.g. when new features are added or the law changes. We announce material changes on this page at least 14 days in advance; registered users may also be notified by email. Changes do not apply retroactively, and if you do not agree with them you can delete your account and cancel monthly support at any time.

16. Governing law and final provisions

These terms are governed by Polish law. This choice of law does not deprive consumers of the protection given to them by the mandatory provisions of the country where they habitually reside. Disputes are settled by the courts with jurisdiction under general rules. The Polish version of these terms is the primary version; other language versions are translations. These terms are effective from 25 October 2026.
